Guys,

I'm just another Joe to you all, but I got a heads up last night that something was going to happen that was going to cause the forums to explode. My contact refused to say what it was, but assured me that the timing was coincidental (and in my timezone, the announcement did arrive on April 1). I have a fairly good hunch that this may be it.

Sometimes an announcement that comes close to the first of the fourth month is just an announcement that happened to fall close to the first of the fourth month. This one's no joke, guys.

On Gaile's replacement: I can think of two people offhand who have some experience in the position. Maybe they'll both step up and share the workload and split it into two 40-hour blocks that mean they don't get burnt out.

Good luck on your new position and thank you for your patience in dealing with the ups and downs presented by the GW community at large. It's good to know that Anet was able to accommodate your request to a reduced work load.

So ... I'm curious ... would you also be giving up your role as holdiay candy supplier and post-festival treat baker?
